• Contact details: your name, mobile number and email address when you book, message us or create a client profile.
• Booking details: services, barber, date and time, notes you add, and your visit and cancellation history.
• Payment details: payments are processed by our card terminal and booking providers. We do not store full card numbers.
• Messages: WhatsApp, phone and email conversations with our team.
• Website data: pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location, and how you arrived at the site. With your consent, we also use cookies and similar tools for analytics and advertising.

• To take, confirm, remind you of and manage bookings (to perform our service to you).
• To answer your questions and resolve complaints (our legitimate interest in serving clients well).
• To keep business, tax and accounting records (legal obligation).
• To send offers and review requests by WhatsApp, SMS or email, only where you have agreed. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP or contacting us.
• To measure and improve our website and advertising, only with your consent to analytics and marketing cookies.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with providers who help us run the salon, under contracts that require them to protect it:

• Booking and client management: Fresha, LeadConnector (HighLevel), XMA Boost.
• Payments: Geidea.
• Messaging: WhatsApp (Meta).
• Website hosting and content: Vercel, Contentful.
• Analytics and advertising (with consent only): Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, PostHog.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

Some of these providers store data outside the UAE. Where they do, we rely on their contractual and security safeguards, as permitted under UAE law.

We keep client and booking records while you remain a client and for 7 years after your last visit, as UAE tax law requires. Website analytics data is kept for up to 14 months. Marketing consent records are kept until you withdraw consent.

Essential cookies keep the site working and are always on. Analytics and marketing cookies are used only if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time through “Cookie settings” in the website footer.

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email us at hello@barberhood.ae. We will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the UAE Data Office.

Clients under 18 should be booked by a parent or guardian, who provides any contact details on their behalf.

Access to client data is limited to staff who need it. Our providers use encryption and access controls.
